The holiday season has arrived and regardless of what you’re celebrating, you’re probably looking forward to time with friends, family, and of course, lots of knitting.
This December, we’re giving you the chance to make your winter a little warmer with our first annual #WAKventcalendar Instagram giveaway.
What is #WAKventcalendar?
WAK + advent calendar = WAKventcalendar
It’s possible that your family may have had an advent calendar when you were growing up, so you might remember how it worked; with a little prize or a piece of chocolate for the first 24 days of December.
But here at WAK, we do things just a little differently. In our version, every day for the first 21 days of December, you can win a different WAK prize; ranging from one of our best selling kits.
How will it work?
Every day a different one of our instagrammer friends will post a picture of the item that you could win, with the hashtag #WAKventcalendar, plus the Instagram handle for the next day’s prize.
In our account, @WeAreKnitters, we’ll be regramming the same picture; so look out for the duplicate shot of what could be your prize!
How do I participate?
Easy!
1) Follow our account, @weareknitters and the account of the original poster.
2) We’ll be posting a fun knitting question with our post, on @weareknitters, so leave a comment answering the question on the post and make sure to tag a friend!
3) That’s it!
We’ll announce a new winner every day, and the next day’s account to follow daily from December 1-20, with a special grand prize on the 21st to be announced!
We’ll be kicking off the promotion on December 1st at 10AM EST on our account, @weareknitters – so make sure to check there then and to see where you can find the next day’s surprise!
